Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated June 20, 2026
This policy explains how trials, cancellations, and refunds work for paid Frugl subscriptions. It supplements our Terms of Service; capitalized terms have the meaning given there.
Free trial
New organizations start on a free trial of the paid experience. The trial begins on your first session upload, runs for a fixed window, and requires no payment card. If you do not subscribe before it ends, your organization automatically moves to the Free plan — you are never charged for the trial, and there is nothing to cancel.
Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel a paid subscription at any time from the billing settings in the app. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep paid access until that period ends, after which your organization moves to the Free plan. We do not charge a cancellation fee.
Refunds
Subscriptions are billed in advance and are generally non-refundable, including for partial billing periods after a cancellation. We do not provide automatic prorated refunds for time left in a period you have already paid for.
We will, however, consider a refund in good faith where:
- you were charged because of a billing error on our side (for example, a duplicate charge);
- a prolonged service outage prevented you from using a feature you paid for; or
- applicable consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction gives you a right to one.
Where we agree to a refund, it is issued to the original payment method through our payment processor, Stripe, and may take several business days to appear.
Changing seats mid-cycle
Adding or removing seats during a billing period adjusts your charges on a prorated basis on your next invoice. Removing a seat does not, by itself, generate a cash refund; the credit is applied against future charges.
Annual plans
Where an annual plan is offered, it is paid in advance for the year. Cancelling an annual plan stops the next annual renewal; the prepaid year is non-refundable except as described underRefunds above or where required by law.
How to request a refund or get help
Manage or cancel your plan from the billing settings in the app. For a refund request or any billing question, email hello@frugl.dev with your organization name and the charge in question, and we will respond promptly.
